H. Bruce Bronson

Westchester Bankruptcy Attorney Profile

Mr. Bronson has practiced law for over 25 years and has extensive experience in Debtor-Creditor law, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Bankruptcy, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, tax law and real estate. Mr. Bronson has an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell® which he has maintained for 20 years (the highest rating an attorney can achieve).

Mr. Bronson has had his own practice for the last 15 years. Prior to that time he worked as a partner in several boutique New York City law firms. Mr. Bronson's extensive experience in creditor-debtor law provides him with a unique perspective in his representation of consumers.

Analyzing clients' financial affairs and finding creative solutions is his strength. Mr. Bronson has stated that "Consumers need not feel strangled by consumer debt to the point of paralysis. The law provides for solutions, and we are here to help them avail themselves of their legal rights."

A Chapter 7 client of Mr. Bronson wrote "Bruce saved my life. I wasn't quite ready for a bankruptcy due to record keeping issues, but Mr. Bronson was able to immediately divert all consumer calls to his law firm and the harassment stopped. When it came time to prepare my filing he found ways for me to protect cherished assets and he gave me a new lease on life."

Bankruptcy should no longer be looked at as creating a stigma; however, for those clients who have had a bankruptcy filing within the last 8 years or have other reasons for not filing bankruptcy, Bronson Law Offices, P.C. has a highly effective alternative involving the settlement of debt at a fraction of its balance. This alternative debt relief is administered by Mr. Bronson in conjunction with highly trained paralegals and former debt collectors. Mr. Bronson believes in actively contesting debt collection litigation, particularly when third party debt buyers are involved.

Continuing Legal Education

All licensed attorneys in the state of New York are required by the bar to participate in continuing legal education every year. Attorney Bruce Bronson fulfilled his requirement by teaching a lecture on Chapter 13 to other attorney for the Law Review CLE.
